 Are you ill of my Asian takeout meals yet?  I hope non… because this one is pretty awesome!  Information technology's not too oft you tin put a meal on the tabular array in 15 minutes… but this one, yous tin can.  The nature of a stir fry is that information technology's quick-cooking, simply with the succulent honey garlic pepper sauce, it tastes like yous slaved over it for much longer.

I know,  I know…anothertakeout-style repast… I must be nuts right?  This meal is too delicious tonot share with you lot all.  I can't accept credit for this recipe, information technology comes from my friend and recipe genius, Nagi from RecipeTin Eats  ðŸ™‚  Her blog is but filled to the brim with succulent recipes and gorgeous photos!  I've fabricated then many of her recipes, and I knew this one would be a winner.

The only real alter I made was to add together a chip more garlic (because I'1000 a garlic freak!), add a scrap of sriracha, and to serve it with sesame seeds and a few snips of chives.  It's about every bit simple as a recipe gets… and simply takes 15 minutes!  Eeeeeek, love that!

That sauce…. O.M.One thousand.  It's astounding… y'all might willwant to eat it by the spoonful 😉  Just 7 ingredients, yet it tastes like a complicated exotic sauce!

One of my favorite parts about this recipe is that the prep work (slicing the onion and beef and mincing the garlic) takes longer than the actual cooking lol.  So that means yous can make this fifty-fifty faster by prepping things earlier in the day.  That'southward what I did here… I sliced my steak and kept it in the refrigerator in a sealed bag, sliced my onion and garlic and kept it sealed in the fridge, and cooked my rice earlier in the day too.  When it came time for dinner, it took me about 5-half-dozen minutes to get dinner on the table.  At present that, my friends, is what I call a fabulous weeknight dinner!!

Don't be fooled by that picture… I'grand soooo not coordinated plenty to swallow with chopsticks lol.  In fact, it took an embarrassingly long time only to become that little chip to take this photograph!

You could easily add some colorful veggies to this stir fry… I do it sometimes as well.  My favorite thing to do is to serve some spicy string beans alongside!

Servings: four servings

Fast and easy, yet BIG on flavor! This beefiness stir fry with a luscious beloved pepper sauce comes together in about xv minutes… perfect for a weeknight!

  • SAUCE:
  • 3 Tbsp soy sauce
  • 3 Tbsp honey
  • one 1/2 Tbsp oyster sauce
  • 2 Tbsp Chinese cooking wine or substitute with beefiness stock
  • two Tbsp water
  • 1 tsp sriracha sauce
  • 1/2 tsp footing blackness pepper
  • STIR FRY:
  • one 1/ii Tbsp peanut oil or vegetable oil
  • ii cloves garlic minced
  • 1 in small-scale onion sliced one-half
  • one lb flank steak sliced thinly, across the grain
  • Combine sauce ingredients in a modest mixing basin, whisk and set bated.

  • Add oil to a large heavy skillet (or wok if you take 1) and oestrus over HIGH heat until oil is very hot and smoking slightly.

  • Add onion and garlic to the skillet and saute for 1 minute, careful not to allow the garlic burn.

  • Next, add the sliced flank steak and stir fry for well-nigh 1 minute. Slide beef, onion and garlic onto a plate and set bated.

  • Reduce the oestrus to MED/MED Loftier and add the whisked sauce to the skillet.

  • Melt for 1 infinitesimal, until sauce becomes thicker and syrupy.
